13 track bikes were produced for atheletes, and 300 limited edition road framesets were produced for the world markets. The frames are the Specialized Allez Sprint Track and Road. Developed with Smartweld to be one of the stiffest most efficient aluminum framesets in production.
The concept was based on techniques and motifs that were explored by designers while working on the BMW art car series. These artists, who were used to their respective mediums, adapted to the form of the cars as well as to the publics eye who viewed them. Their designs we not only to revolutionize design in racing but also to shake it up a little at the same time.
